Why Is Sara An Artist?

Sara’s goal as a visual artists, designer, and dancer is to not only to bring honor and praise to God through her work but to give clear attention to lost stories that are just waiting to be told and to CAPTURE still, piercing moments found in creation. She’s inspired by the Lords creation and the history hidden within our surroundings.

She seeks to take the beautiful or beautifully tragic stories throughout history and bring them to life through art and movement.

An ever growing faith in God and the study of His scripture, influences her personal practice as a visual artist, designer, dancer/choreographer, as well as the opportunities she has for collaborations with fellow artists. Through her work she wants to bring hope and not let pieces of truth or even life’s hardships slip by. There are voices that have been hidden or silenced throughout time that deserve to be heard, loudly, honestly, and passionately.
